We have stayed here 3 times now. It is great! Camping spots are well maintained. The trails are wonderful! And there is plenty to do. Check out the visitors center for more information!
Our family loves the nature center, pioneer village, and the hiking trails. Everyone in the nature center was wonderful. They answered all of our questions. The beach is home to a huge flock of geese (and why I am giving 4 stars). If swimming is your hope, find another beach! There is so much goose poo! Obviously this isn't the park's fault, but it was pretty gross.
There are trails in the area and hiking in the park takes you through some beautiful areas. The lake is large enough for small and large motor boats with plenty of room to move around. The Marina has everything you could need for a day of fun in the sun.
We went to Ceasar Creek State Park with the kids. We camped, it was a great place! We picked up small fossils, they let you keep the little ones. The volunteers were amazing and informative at the Nature Center! It's not open every day, check their schedule! THanks volunteers!
Great state park. Excellent place to go boating in the summer. Outstanding system oh hiking trails that are fun throughout the year.
We have rented a cabin here a few times for our family gatherings. The cabin has everything we need including a kitchen, bathrooms and a large room full of tables and chairs.
You can spend the weekend here and never get bored. The beach it self is enough to entertain the family. I recommend this park for summer fun.
