The gathering/dining area has a gas fireplace but no air conditioning is available. There are plenty of large windows to open and they cool it down nicely, even in August. There is also a mens and women's restroom available inside.
I really enjoy using this facility. The price is reasonable and there is plenty of room for a large group of people.

Outdoors there are outdoor grills, picnic tables and a kids sandbox. The area is surrounded by trees so there is plenty of shade to go around. There are hiking trails that lead to the lake and around the park. Across the parking lot there is a very large open green space for any kind of outdoor activities.
Available indoors is a kitchen that has a full size fridge and stove. A microwave and coffee pot are also available. The kitchen has a very large pass through window into the eating area. There are plenty of countertops and electrical outlets available.
We have held two family gatherings at the Hopewell Day lodge. The lodge is located at Caesar Creek state park. The lodge has accommodations for about 60 people with plenty of chairs and table indoors.
